PRODUCERS CHEMICAL COMPANY HIRES CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Company Announces New Hire in Midst of Continued Growth

Batavia, IL (July 14, 2008) - Producers Chemical Company today announced the addition of Jeff Szklarek as Chief Financial Officer. Jeff will be responsible for leading the company's financial activities. His responsibilities will also include financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.

Prior to joining Producers Chemical, Jeff worked as a senior accountant for Zimmer, Inc. a global manufacturer of orthopedic products based in Warsaw, IN. Jeff has also worked in accounting roles for Cardinal Health Corporation and Deloitte & Touche, LLC both in Chicago. Jeff graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor of science degree in accountancy. He also holds a master's degree in business taxation from the University of Minnesota and is a Certified Public Accountant. Jeff resides with his wife in Geneva, Ill.
